Follow below listed steps to setup a masternode:

1. Create Wallet Addresses

In order to setup masternode, firstly you will need 2 separate SliceLedger Chain wallet addresses. One wallet address will be used for node operations, and second wallet address is used to stake 50,000 IGT as deposit to run masternode. The second wallet, which is used for deposit, will be incentivized with all the rewards a node operator receive.

  • WALLET1 is the operating wallet which is used for Masternode operations. It is identified as validator on the network.

  • WALLET2 is the address from where 50,000 SLICE will be staked in order to become candidate masternode. All the node operation rewards will be sent to this address.

Keep both the Public Key and Private Key of the addresses saved safely. Storing all of this information somewhere offline is recommended.

Using Metamask wallet is recommended as it is highly secure and very popular. Integrating SliceLedger Chain network on Metamask is easy process.
